Rev KENNETH CLAASSEN (Pastor)
It is such a privilege to have been appointed to serve as Pastor of Marlow Baptist Church since September 2019. As a Church we have such a rich history and a blessed future trusting in God’s amazing grace. I was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and being part of a Bible teaching Church. I came to trust the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 18 and soon after entered seminary and a church apprenticeship. I have served in full time ministry for 18 years and I am so grateful to the Lord for His mercy and grace in my life. My life changed when I met my wife Vera and we were married in 2013. She is my rock and is not only supportive but she is active in the ministry with me. We were blessed in 2016 with the birth of our son, Harry. In 2016 as a family we believed that God had called us to a new chapter in ministry. Through prayer, circumstances and intervention the Lord guided us to Marlow. We are so blessed to serve Him in Marlow and we are committed to reaching the town with the wonderful and powerful gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a church we are committed to Biblical preaching, teaching, fellowship and always being Christ centred.
